About
We have worked long and hard to raise healthy, happy standard poodles in a family setting. We do show when we get the chance but I won't send my dogs away with strangers for months at a time, not that there's anything wrong with that, I just haven't found anyone in my area trustworthy of my babies. We are very careful where our puppies go, they must choose you as much as you choose them, if we don't feel you are a good fit, we will respectfully decline you, this is a lifelong commitment, not a spur of the moment decision or gift, they require extensive grooming and veterinary care, please don't proceed if you're not prepared for any emergency whether it be financial or behavioral may arise, they can be worse than children in some instances. We have an extensive contract, please take a moment to look at it and be sure you understand it and we are always willing to talk poodles so don't hesitate to contact me. A little more about me, I'm also a vet tech and certified groomer, I been grooming for over 20 years and a vet tech for 11, I'm constantly trying to learn the newest in health testing and grooming techniques for our breed to help pass on to our new owners. They are in home raised on our 5 acre farm with our children always by their side, we do our best to match every puppy with every family based on temperament etc. Please let us know exactly what you're looking for and we'll do our best to find a pup for you or recommend another breeder whom might be able to help. We are always with you during this lifelong process, support doesn't stop when our babies leave us, "new parents" will always need help once they get home and thats what being supportive breeders is about. We always try to do our best in health testing of our dogs and making sure you're taking home the healthiest puppy possible. We've done our very best to do all available tests in the market today to rule defects in our lines. No one is perfect but we sure try. We strive for low COI breedings, have only 1 litter at a time so they get individual attention, and keep them here as long as needed untilthey are properly socialized and ready to go to their new homes. We use the volhard testing method and start around 4 weeks at assessing temperaments and begin their training from there. Our puppies are tested by a certified trainer that comes to our home and does our testing which is the only way to guarantee your getting the best and most accurate in temperment evaluation possible. We use Purina pro plan plan 30/20 sport kibble with a raw food topper to start all our puppies out before going home. Our raw good is sourced from local farm here in the area as its only the best with no preservatives or antibiotics added. We use the Dr. Jean Dodds protocol for vaccinations to ensure no one is over vaccinated as there can be serious lifelong repercussions in doing so. Only what they need when they need them is our motto.
